Why advertise bad health...

as though it's attractive?
It really bothers me to see emaciated, 6ft. concave-stomached mannequins in shop windows. NOBODY has that body shape. Anyone that tall and quite clearly that underweight would be facing serious problems. A concave-stomach is one thing to look out for if you're worried that someone you know might be suffering from anorexia nervosa; an illness which is affecting the youth of today now more than ever. It is an horrific thing to suffer as even when the body is returned to a healthy state, patients still have to cope with body-dismorphier, a warped self image.
Knowing the severity of this, why are reputable shops like Marks and Spencer stocking ill-looking mannequins? There is something very wrong with this.
